Before you start

A photo slideshow turns a set of stills (a trip, an event, a product) into one video you can post as a Reel or send to family. Music and a gentle transition are what make it feel like a video rather than a gallery.

Story Slideshow is part of Creovia Creator's photo tools, separate from the video editor, and it saves the finished slideshow as a video.

  1. Step 1

    Open Story Slideshow

Start a photo project, open the Slideshow category, and choose Story Slideshow.

  2. Step 2

    Add your photos in order

Choose the photos you want viewers to see. The tutorial adds four forest photos, one slide at a time.

  3. Step 3

    Choose a music track

Open Music and select a track from local storage. Preview the slideshow with the track to hear how the slides and music work together.

  4. Step 4

    Add a Fade transition

Apply Fade between the photos. Preview the joins so the transition is visible without distracting from the images.

  5. Step 5

    Save and watch the slideshow

Export the slideshow as a video. Open the saved file in Gallery and check the finished sequence.

Quick answers

Can I add music to a photo slideshow?
Yes. In Story Slideshow, open Music, choose a track from local storage, and preview the photos with the soundtrack.
How do I make the photos change smoothly?
Apply the Fade transition between photos and preview the joins before saving the slideshow video.
Where does the music come from?
From audio files already on your phone. The tutorial picks a track from local storage.
Can I come back to a slideshow later?
