How to add a timed text title to a video.

Add a title in Creovia Creator, set when it appears on the timeline, and preview it before exporting.

Before you start

A timed title appears for only part of the video: a hook in the first seconds, a label when a new scene starts, a call to action at the end. Text that stays on screen the whole time competes with the footage; text that arrives on cue directs attention.

In Creovia Creator each title is its own strip on the timeline beneath the video, so you can see when it starts and how long it lasts, and change both by dragging.

  1. Step 1

    Open a project and find the title's starting point

    Add a clip to a blank project, then move the playhead to the moment where the title should begin.

  2. Step 2

    Add the title

    Open Text and enter the words you want viewers to see. Keep the title short enough to read while the clip plays.

  3. Step 3

    Set its timing on the timeline

    Select the title strip beneath the video. Move it to change the start time, and adjust its duration so it stays visible long enough to read.

  4. Step 4

    Preview and export

    Play across the start and end of the title to check its timing. When it looks right, export the video and check the saved result in Gallery.
