00:05:06:00Batch & merge
Batch convert.
Set it once, for all of them.
One file at a time is fine for one file. A shoot, a shared folder, a phone full of clips from a weekend — those need a queue: one output spec, a list you can reorder, and something that keeps going while you use your phone for something else.
Convert's queue keeps going after you leave the app, with a progress notification you can cancel straight from the notification shade. Android is strict about background work, and Convert plays by those rules rather than around them — it declares what it is doing, stays within the time the platform allows, and holds on to permission for the files you picked. A queue that outlives the app being closed therefore resumes instead of failing on access it no longer has.
00:05:06:00How it runs
One spec, every file
The output settings panel applies across the queue, so you set format, size and transforms once.
Reorderable, with per-file status
Move items up and down, watch each one's badge, and start all, cancel all, or clear the list.
Survives a cold start
File access grants are persisted, so queued jobs still resolve their input after the app is closed and reopened.
Pro
The free tier converts one file at a time; the queue is part of Pro, and the Batch tab says so before you load it up.
