00:02:31:02Audio & MP3
Audio convert.
Start from a song, not a video.
Convert doesn't insist on video. Hand it an audio file and the editor reshapes itself: the video card disappears, and the output formats narrow to the three that can actually hold sound on its own — M4A, MP3 and WAV.
That narrowing is deliberate. A converter that lets you request an MP4 with no picture is a converter that hands you a broken file twenty minutes later. What the source can become is what you're offered, and nothing else.
00:02:31:02How it runs
Audio-only sources are understood
When the file has no video track, the video formats are hidden rather than left to fail at the end of a long job.
M4A, MP3 or WAV
M4A is free; MP3 and WAV are Pro formats, each marked before you choose it.
Uncompressed when you need it
WAV writes PCM — the right answer when something downstream wants no compression at all.
